About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Transport Manager to join our team at Felixstowe. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless execution of our transportation activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure transportation operations comply with all regulations and industry best practices.
  • Manage a fleet of 20 trucks, ensuring efficient and effective transportation operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance transportation efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyse transportation data to identify areas for improvement and implement actionable solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transportation activities.
  • Supervise and train transportation staff, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any arising issues.
About You

We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and deep knowledge of transportation regulations. You should excel in leadership, effective communication, and collaboration with other departments while being capable of working independently in an office setting.

A qualification in Transport Managers CPC is essential. You must be adept at maintaining accurate records, supervising staff, and continuously improving transportation processes.
