Job Summary

This Aviation Operations Assistant position at London Southend Airport Company Limited requires a detail-oriented individual to provide support to Air Traffic Control Officers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and responding to ATC emails in a timely manner
  • Handling ATC telephone calls and processing messages
  • Processing AFTN messages and completing movement logs
  • Managing bookings for various flight types
  • Preparing and publishing Meteorological Observations
  • Guiding visitors to the ATC Tower
  • Supporting the Airports 'One Team' culture and undertaking other tasks

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 (C) or above, including Maths and English.

Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this role is £24,000 - £28,000, considering industry standards. Our compensation package includes:
