Store Leadership Development Manager

Purpose
At Deichmann, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced retail professional to join our team as a Trainee Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills and take on new challenges in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
As a Trainee Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and holding stores across the surrounding area, working closely with our dedicated trainers and management team to ensure the success of our stores. You will undergo comprehensive training and development, with a view to progressing to a Cover Manager role and eventually becoming a Store Manager of your own store.
Key Responsibilities
- Motivate and coach the team to deliver exceptional customer service
- Lead by example in promoting and recommending complimentary shoe care products, demonstrating confidence with selling and excellent product knowledge
- Resourcing and drafting rotas, working within budget
- Stock management and analysis of sales performance data and reports
- Recommend ways to improve sales performance, based on analysis of quantitative and qualitative data and identification of customer insights
- Ensure all company standards are implemented and maintained, including merchandising and admin
- Support the delivery of KPIs, meeting all company standards
- Assist in recruitment and training of the team

- A hands-on leader with experience in retail or a related industry sector
- A positive and flexible approach with a can-do attitude
- Energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to work under pressure in a demanding fast-paced environment
- The confidence and ability to motivate, coach, and inspire the team
- Numerate and with attention to detail
- A good communicator with methodical, organized, and structured approach to work
- Fully flexible across the week
Salary/Pay
£28,000 per annum
