Job Title: Support Worker - Primary and Secondary Education

Join GSL Education as a Support Worker in a primary and secondary education setting, working with pupils who have special educational and behavioural needs. As a Support Worker, you will provide a personalized learning experience, assist with personal care, and support the delivery of lessons in-line with the National Curriculums.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for students
  • Assist with personal care and daily living tasks
  • Support the delivery of lessons and activities
  • Work with other education professionals to provide a comprehensive support package
  • Monitor and report on student progress
Requirements:
  • At least 6 months experience of supporting adults or young people with additional needs
  • Calm and caring demeanor, with a positive outlook on life
  • Resilience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered to the update service
  • Commitment to working 8:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday, term time only
