About the Role

We are seeking compassionate individuals with emotional intelligence and person-centred values to join our team as Relief Recovery Support Workers. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with mental health needs, empowering them to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide psychological and practical support to enable individuals to grow in self-esteem and confidence
  • Empower individuals to make informed choices and enjoy a fulfilling life by developing supportive relationships and accessing meaningful activities
  • Work closely and effectively with individuals, their families, social workers, NHS professionals, and voluntary agencies to ensure comprehensive support
  • Contribute to needs/risk assessment and the development of person-centred support plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be able to build warm and trusting relationships with individuals, based on respect and unconditional positive regard. You will need to have good verbal and written communication skills and be confident in liaising with external agencies. Experience in mental health support is essential.
