About the Role

We are seeking compassionate individuals with emotional intelligence and person-centred values to join our team as Relief Recovery Support Workers. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality support to individuals with mental health needs in a new-build supported living service in Redditch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enable service users to make progress in their personal recovery journey and attain goals relating to their mental health & wellbeing, independence, and quality of life.
  • Provide psychological and practical support to empower individuals to grow in self-esteem and confidence.
  • Develop supportive relationships with individuals, their families, social workers, NHS professionals, and voluntary agencies.
  • Contribute to needs/risk assessment and the development of person-centred support plans.
  • Practice in an inclusive and non-judgmental manner, demonstrating an understanding of mental health needs and the challenges experienced by individuals who may have experienced trauma and adverse life events.
