Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team at AndersElite. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in identifying and analysing commercial risks, undertaking costs analysis, and providing advice on contractual claims.

About the Role:
  • Identify and analyse commercial risks to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Undertake costs analysis to inform business decisions
  • Provide advice on contractual claims to protect the interests of our clients
  • Assist in establishing client requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
  • Perform risk and value management and cost control to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Advise on procurement strategy to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients
  • Prepare and analyse costing for tenders to ensure competitiveness
  • Allocate work to subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery
About the Company:

Our client is a medium-sized civil engineering and groundworks contractor based in the Greater Manchester area. They have a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects and are looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Requirements:
  • Subcontractor groundworks background with experience of running groundworks projects from inception to final account
  • Civil engineering sector experience, ideally working for a groundworks subcontractor
  • Experience of running complex civil engineering and groundworks jobs as a lead Quantity Surveyor
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced civil engineering environment
  • Compiled and administered NEC subcontract contracts previously
