Patient Safety First

We are currently seeking a Senior Clinical Research Physician to join our Synexus Clinical Research site in Lancashire, United Kingdom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care while leading clinical research studies from initiation to completion.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough clinical evaluations and assessments to ensure eligible participants are recruited and monitored for safety and adherence.
  • Participate in site initiation visits, pre-selection visits, and investigator meetings as required.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to achieve study targets within timelines.
  • Monitor and review enrollment progress, pre-screening and screening success rates, screen failure rates, and participant retention.
  • Interpret protocols and IB, and manage and review IVRS, CRF/EDC if applicable.
  • Oversight of investigational medical product (IMP) management.
  • Leadership of multiple studies or studies with higher numbers.
  • Ensure completion of PI handover documentation.
  • Foster an environment of ethical conduct, prioritizing participant safety at all times.
  • Meet medical duties, adhering to acceptable medical, scientific, and ethical standards, and meeting protocol, SOP/COP ICH, and local GCP guidelines and regulations.

Requirements:

  • GMC registered doctor with no limitations to practice.
  • Ideal experience in clinical research, with working knowledge of GCP (ICH/GCP and local regulations compliance).
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, providing practical help and guidance to colleagues, and supporting their development.
  • Show meticulous attention to detail in recording patient information and data, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of queries.
  • Be a team player, capable of building and sustaining positive relationships with colleagues and patients.
