Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Training Specialist to join our team at Pearson. As a key member of our training department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training programs and conducting assessments, reviews, and completions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and conduct visits with learners and line managers for induction, observation, and progress tracking.
  • Evaluate learner work within set timeframes, ensuring targets are met.
  • Provide detailed, professional, and relevant feedback to learners on their qualifications.
  • Observe learners in the workplace against awarding body criteria, offering feedback as needed.
  • Maintain accurate assessments, achieving verification.
  • Conduct reviews with learners and line managers, submitting paperwork on time.
  • Monitor learner progress, liaising with the Programme Manager for monitoring purposes.
  • Identify and address situations requiring absence from the program, completing necessary paperwork.
  • Promote positive learning attitudes among participants.
  • Attend standardization and team meetings as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven IAG, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Experience with the Ofsted inspection framework.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Sector-specific qualification (L3 NVQ/Diploma in Healthcare) with clinical experience.
  • Excellent written communication skills for capturing feedback and objectives.
  • Relevant teaching qualifications (TAQA/A1/D32/33, V1/D34).
  • Knowledge of Apprenticeship standards.
What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, reflecting your expertise and experience.
