Heavy Plant Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Plant Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in plant hire, construction, and heavy plant maintenance.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining all construction plant hire equipment to the highest standard. This includes diagnosing faults, servicing, and performing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on site.

You will also be required to carry out breakdown repairs on construction plant machinery, as well as routine services on various types of equipment such as excavators, dumpers, and bulldozers.

The successful candidate will have strong administration skills and be able to manage tasks and complete paperwork accurately and on time.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus overtime at an additional rate. You will also receive a company van, pension scheme, and 22 days' holiday + bank holidays.

As a Mobile Plant Engineer, you will work Monday to Friday and enjoy specialist manufacturer training and other employee incentives.

To succeed in this role, you will need experience working with heavy plant machinery, including excavators, dumpers, bulldozers, and similar equipment. An NVQ in Plant Maintenance or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
