We are proud to be working with a leading plant hire company that is continuously expanding its workforce, which is why they are looking for an experienced Mobile Plant Engineer to join their team.

As the successful candidate, you will maintain all construction plant hire equipment to a high standard, including diagnosing faults, servicing, and performing Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on-site. You will also carry out breakdown repairs on construction plant machinery and perform routine services on various types of plant equipment, such as diggers, dumpers, Vogel pavers, excavators, paving machines, and Bomag rollers.

Your duties will also involve managing administration tasks, completing paperwork accurately and on time, including warranty claims.

This is a full-time role Monday to Friday, based near Kettering, offering a competitive salary up to £35,000 depending on experience, plus overtime at an additional rate. Benefits include a company van, pension scheme, 22 days holiday + bank holidays, and specialist manufacturer training.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in plant hire, construction, heavy plant, or similar, working on excavators, dumpers, bulldozers, and other related equipment. An NVQ in Plant Maintenance or equivalent is not essential but would be advantageous.
