Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Child Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with vulnerable children, young people, families, and carers in health or local authority settings.

About the Role
  • The post holder will provide consultation, teaching, training to health and local authority colleagues and psychological assessment and intervention to young people who present with a range of risks and needs.

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in partnership with health and social care services to provide high-quality care to vulnerable children and their families.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing non-appointment-based access and psychological support to young people living within the home as well as the NWD staff team. You will also work as part of our Psychologically Informed Partnership Approach (PIPA) service within a supportive team of colleagues who are able to access supervision and training.
