Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Paediatric Eating Disorders Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and responsive specialist dietetic service for young people with eating disorders.

The successful candidate will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support the nutritional health and wellbeing of young people admitted to Serenity Path Hospital and those who attend the day service programme. You will be responsible for assessing nutritional needs, providing input to formulation meetings, and managing physical health.

We are looking for someone with substantial clinical experience in dietetics, a keen interest in development and knowledge of national drivers for Eating Disorders and nutrition within a young person's inpatient unit. A desire to achieve change and implement redesign based on best practice is essential.

Main Duties

The clinical aspect of this role includes:

  • Full assessment of nutritional needs
  • Providing input to formulation meetings
  • Managing physical health
  • Supporting supervision and development of policies and procedures

Person Specification

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Nutrition and dietetic degree
  • State registration in dietetics
  • Registration with Health Professionals' Council
