This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist to take on a key role in the development of our innovative falls prevention service. As a specialist in this field, you will be responsible for implementing and leading the implementation of a falls service across Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.

The service will focus on providing falls advice, assessment, and intervention when needed at local venues. Our goal is to create a seamless pathway for patients with falls prevention and intervention needs. We are looking for a highly skilled physiotherapist who can work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to make decisions about the best way to reduce the risk of falls, raise awareness of risk factors, and make necessary changes to prevent falls.

  • Provide a high standard of physiotherapy service within the falls service working across Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board localities, health board sites, and various community settings.
  • Work as an autonomous practitioner and undertake specialist clinical duties as required within a defined specialist clinical area.
