Job Summary

This role offers the opportunity to work as part of the Medical Records Team at Velindre University NHS Trust. You will be responsible for coordinating clinics, managing clerical support, and ensuring efficient data recording.

Main Responsibilities
  • You will communicate effectively with clinicians, medical secretaries, and nursing staff to schedule appointments and handle emergencies.
  • Making and receiving phone calls from patients and relatives, you will ensure their needs are addressed promptly and politely.
  • As the first point of contact, you will receive patients and verify demographic information.
  • You will generate outpatient attendance lists using the Trust PAS system and prepare for future clinics.
About the Role

This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

A Customer Care qualification or equivalent experience is desirable. Experience working in an NHS organization and dealing with members of the public over the telephone or face-to-face is essential.

The ideal candidate will have advanced keyboard skills and be able to speak Welsh (desirable).

Salary and Benefits
