About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive CAD Design Engineer to join our team in Bourne, Lincolnshire. As a CAD Design Engineer, you will be responsible for innovating and developing new products, and enhancing existing ones using 2D and 3D CAD (SolidWorks).

  • Develop and implement new product designs, and improve existing ones using 2D and 3D CAD software.
  • Collaborate with tooling, including CNC cutting, mould making, prototype production, and fitting.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure seamless integration of design and production processes.
Key Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Mastery of 2D & 3D CAD, particularly SolidWorks.
  • Experience with lightweight fabricated structures, hinges and fixings, bonding and joining, sheet metal fabrication, GRP moulding, and thermoforming techniques is highly desirable.
  • A driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
