About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and gifted Graduate CAD Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. Based in Bourne, Lincolnshire, our company is renowned for its dedication to quality, efficiency, and innovation. Key Responsibilities
  • Innovate and develop new products, and enhance existing ones using 2D and 3D CAD (SolidWorks).
  • Collaborate with tooling, including CNC cutting, mould making, prototype production, and fitting.
  • Generate detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) and precise fitting instructions.
  • Work closely with the sales team to meet and exceed client requirements.

Requirements

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Mastery of 2D & 3D CAD, particularly SolidWorks.
  • Proficiency in producing clear, accurate technical drawings for sales presentations and production.
  • Experience with lightweight fabricated structures, hinges and fixings, bonding and joining, sheet metal fabrication, GRP moulding, and thermoforming techniques is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding time management skills.
  • A driving licence is advantageous but not mandatory.
