Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver targeted activities and programmes that promote health and wellbeing, accessible to all members of the community.
  • Work closely with stakeholders and partners to ensure that our services meet the needs of local communities and contribute to the delivery of public health objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of active environments through the delivery of local and strategic place-based interventions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Integrated Care Systems, allied health professionals, and social care services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in public health and wellbeing, and ensure that our services are aligned with national and local priorities.
  • Work with the Business Development Team to develop and submit bids for funding opportunities that support our health and wellbeing objectives.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that our services are integrated and effective in promoting healthy lifestyles and wellbeing.

What You'll Need

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as leisure management, public health, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience of developing and delivering health and wellbeing programmes, with a track record of success in promoting healthy lifestyles and wellbeing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A UK driving license and willingness to travel.
