We are seeking a skilled Freelance Utility Engineer to work on one of the highest profile schemes in the UK, delivering HS2. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering utility diversion projects, setting out projects on site, and managing day-to-day site operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Completing documentation to get contracts to site.
  • Delivering utility diversion projects (water, gas, electric, communications).
  • Setting out projects on site from inception to completion.
  • Managing day-to-day site operations.
  • Writing RAMS/WPPs and documentation for ITPs.
  • Coordinating with surrounding works/contractors.
  • Completing daily records for programme delays, attendees, and commercial issues.
  • Ensuring ITPs are agreed and completed accordingly.
Requirements
  • Commercial and contract awareness.
  • Excellent organisation and logistics skills.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety and CDM regulations.
  • Technical capability and responsibility for site teams.
Qualifications
  • SSSTS/SMSTS
  • NRSWA Supervisor
  • TWC (optional)
  • First Aid Qualified (optional)
  • Driving Licence
