About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Utilities Planner to join our client on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utilities planning and be proficient in using Primavera P6. This role involves strategic and operational planning, coordination with various departments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Scheduling:
    Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring all project milestones are met.
  • Coordination:
    Act as a liaison between different departments and external agencies to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    Monitor and interpret new legislation and regulations affecting utilities. Prepare and present reports on project progress and compliance.
  • Resource Management:
    Allocate resources efficiently to meet project deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Risk Management:
    Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Implement new technologies and work processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Experience:

  • Education:
    A degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
