Composite Production Planner

At the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, a dynamic group of professionals work together to design, develop, manufacture, and race high-performance cars driven by world-class drivers.

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Composite Production Planner to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling tasks across the composite manufacturing operation, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting company goals.

  • Develop and implement production plans to optimize composite manufacturing operations.
  • Create and maintain production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize manufacturing asset utilization and effective communication.
  • Conduct annual rough-cut capacity planning to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor and validate lead times to ensure accurate planning of new orders.

Candidate Profile:

  • Preferably degree qualified in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Business.
  • Understanding of composite manufacturing processes and principles.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and scheduling roles.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Programming skills, such as VBA or Python, are an advantage.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, like SAP, is beneficial.
