Role Overview

Connect2SocialWork is seeking an experienced SEN Case Officer to join our team in Surrey. As a SEN Case Officer, you will work with families of children with Special Needs and Disability, coordinating service provision across education, health, and care to ensure holistic delivery plans for individual children and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with families, schools, and other key partners to ensure children and young people with SEND receive appropriate provision that meets their needs.
  • Facilitate engagement with educational settings and relevant practitioners to support, advise, and monitor the local offer.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality casework, taking a reflective approach to drive improvement and using data and feedback to inform practice.
  • Work closely with a team around the child approach, ensuring timely planning, quality assessments, and plans, and impact of annual reviews.

Requirements

  • SWE Registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
