About the Job:
SmartPro is seeking a skilled Production Equipment Technician to join their team in Swansea. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of plant production machinery and support equipment.

The ideal candidate will have relevant industry qualifications, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. They will also be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management, providing regular updates on progress and any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:
- Receives and performs job assignments through work orders, sketches, PM schedules, blueprints, or verbal instructions.
- Responds to emergency requests for repairs or replacements.
- Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains a variety of production machinery and equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and parts.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive maintenance experience in the manufacturing sector.
- Relevant industry qualification.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maintenance manuals, schematics, and drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
