Care Home Operations Manager

About the Role:
Care Home Operations Manager required to assist in managing day-to-day operations within a beautiful nursing home in Colchester. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the care staff and ensuring the provision of high-quality care to residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Home Manager in managing operations and reaching or exceeding goals.
- Oversee the care staff and assume full management responsibilities in the event of the Home Manager's absence.
- Train and supervise care staff in all aspects of their work.
- Help the Home Manager with pre-admission assessments, care plans, and daily records.
- Develop and maintain effective communication with residents, families, and external organizations.
Requirements:
- Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
- Ability to engage with service users and provide excellent care services.
- Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with external care professionals, families, and staffing teams.
