Deputy Care Manager

Opus People Solutions are looking for a Deputy Care Manager to join a beautiful residential home near Colchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a truly supportive organization, offering plenty of room for career progression.
As Deputy Care Manager, you will assist in the daily running of the home, overseeing the care team, and ensuring the highest level of care is consistently provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the home while maintaining high standards of care
Oversee and support the care staff, taking full management responsibility in the Home Manager's absence
Train and supervise care staff through direct instruction and by leading by example
Support the Home Manager with pre-admission assessments of residents
Ensure resident care plans and daily records are accurately maintained and up to date
Foster effective communication with residents' families and external organizations
Encourage residents and their families to actively participate in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care plans
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Deputy Care Manager (or similar role)
Strong understanding of CQC standards
Excellent leadership and communication skills
