Deputy Home manager - Residential Care

What we're looking for:
Relevant Qualification: Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or above) is essential.
Experience: Experience as a Deputy Home Manager or in a similar senior role within a residential care setting.
Understanding of CQC Standards: In-depth understanding of CQC standards and the ability to implement them effectively.
Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with residents, families, and professionals.
Leadership and Mentorship: Proven leadership skills with a commitment to mentoring and supporting a care team.
Person-Centred Approach: A compassionate, person-centred approach to care that focuses on residents' well-being.

Your day-to-day:
Oversee Daily Operations: Assist the Care Home Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring seamless care delivery and team coordination.
Motivate and Inspire the Team: Take the lead in motivating and inspiring the care staff, ensuring they are well-supported and equipped to provide the best possible care.
Develop Individual Care Plans: Connect with residents and families to understand individual needs and tailor care plans that promote independence and dignity.
Involve Residents and Families: Actively involve residents and their families in the creation, development, and review of care programs to ensure personalized care is at the heart of everything.
Maintain CQC Compliance: Take responsibility for maintaining compliance with CQC standards, consistently delivering high-quality care that meets all regulations.
Evaluate and Improve Care Practices: Continuously evaluate and improve care practices, ensuring they align with both regulatory guidelines and the home's values.
Recruit, Train, and Supervise: Play an active role in the recruitment, training, and supervision of care staff, fostering a culture of learning and development.
Mentorship and Support: Provide clear guidance and mentorship, empowering staff to excel in their roles and deliver person-centred care.
Foster Positive Relationships: Cultivate strong, positive relationships with external professionals, families, and visitors, ensuring communication is open and effective.
