This role involves working with children in mainstream schools and nurseries across Lincolnshire. You will be responsible for supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities, as well as providing one-to-one or small group support to students with varying learning needs.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities.">
  • Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.">
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with varying learning needs.">
  • Help prepare learning materials and resources.">
  • Support students' social and emotional development.">
  • Communicate effectively with staff and parents.">

Requirements and Qualifications

">
  • ">
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent for Teaching Assistants.">
  • Nursery Nurse Qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare and Education) for Nursery Nurses.">
  • Experience working with children in a classroom or nursery setting is essential.">
  • Experience in mainstream schools or nurseries is preferred.">
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum for Teaching Assistants or Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for Nursery Nurses.">
  • Experience or knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN) is beneficial.">
  • First Aid Training is desirable.">
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with teachers, nursery staff, and children.">
