Responsibilities:
- Provide cover for absent teaching staff and facilitate learning by Key Stage 3 and 4 students in their absence.
- May have responsibility for a tutor group.
Requirements:
- Ideal candidates will have some experience of working with children, either in sports coaching, camp counselling, private tutoring, or other contexts.
- An undergraduate degree in a specific subject (e.g., Chemistry, Physical Education, Geography) is preferred but not essential.
- A calm temperament, excellent communication skills, and high-level personal organisation are required.
- Candidates must be able to work professionally under pressure, meet deadlines, and operate flexibly to ensure maximum progress and outcomes for learners.
- Familiarity with and ability to differentiate work according to individual needs when appropriate.
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience).
