Job Summary

The North West School of Radiology (NWSOR) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Trust Specialty Training Lead (TSTL). As the named Clinical Supervisor, you will oversee the management and pastoral support for the ST1 Academy Placement, ensuring the successful delivery of the Academy's objectives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee trainees ST1 Academy, providing pastoral support and ensuring their successful integration into the Academy.
  • Organise, conduct, and feedback end-of-year assessments for ST1 trainees, ensuring their educational and E-Portfolio assessments are completed to the highest standard.
  • Complete trainee workplace-based assessments where applicable, providing constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
  • Oversee FRCR Part 1 Exam Teaching, working closely with Subspecialty Curriculum Leads, Clinical Lecturers, and Exam Support TPD to deliver a robust programme.
  • Liaise and work with subspecialty curriculum leads to ensure the Academy's educational activities are aligned with the NHS England board's objectives.

Person Specification
  • Consultant in Radiology on the Specialist Register.
  • Membership or Fellowship of The Royal College of Radiologists.
  • Consultant currently working in NHS in North-West England.

We are looking for an individual with a strong track record of delivering education programmes, creating online and in-person teaching materials, and experience as an Educational Supervisor.
