We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead medium to large-scale complex media projects globally for Christy Media Solutions, a software product manufacturer that collaborates with major broadcasters and media entertainment companies. As the driving force in project management and continuous process improvement within our Customer Success team, you will be responsible for overseeing project milestones, change control, and progress reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for medium to large complex software projects, ensuring seamless communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Lead teams of engineers and produce detailed project plans and system specifications, leveraging Agile Methodologies to drive project success.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities and attend customer meetings, providing technical expertise and building strong relationships with clients.
  • Manage project-related defects, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on project timelines.
  • Conduct technical configuration, UAT, training, and problem-solving, utilizing strong technical project management skills to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical project management skills with a proven background in delivering large-scale software projects, preferably in the media and entertainment industry.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and experience with project management tools and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • High commercial awareness and effective time management, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Desirable:

  • Project management qualifications, such as PMP or PRINCE2.
  • Experience with broadcast technology, including playout, multiviewers, and cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of MAM, graphics, subtitling, XSLT, BXF, and XML, as well as familiarity with Microsoft and Linux OS, and network-based systems.
  • Familiarity with second languages is a plus, as we collaborate with global teams and clients.

Working Arrangements:

  • 2/3 days per week in our Cambridge-based office, with the option to work remotely as needed.
  • Up to 30-40% travel globally, with opportunities to work with our international teams and clients.
