We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead medium to large-scale complex media projects globally for Christy Media Solutions, a software product manufacturer that collaborates with major broadcasters and media entertainment companies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary contact for medium to large complex software projects, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead teams of engineers and develop detailed project plans and system specifications, aligning with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities, attend customer meetings, and provide technical expertise to drive business growth.
  • Manage project milestones, change control, and progress reporting, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Conduct technical configuration, UAT, training, and problem-solving, resolving complex issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure successful project handovers and manage project-related defects, maintaining a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical project management skills with a proven background in delivering large-scale software projects, with a focus on media and entertainment.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies and experience in implementing them in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • High commercial awareness and effective time management, with a focus on meeting business objectives and delivering results.

Desirable:

  • Project management qualifications, such as PMP or PRINCE2.
  • Experience in the media and entertainment industry, with knowledge of broadcast technology, playout, multiviewers, and related systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, MAM, graphics, subtitling, XSLT, BXF, and XML, with experience in implementing them in a software product manufacturer.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft and Linux OS, and network-based systems, with experience in managing and maintaining them.
  • Second language proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with international teams and stakeholders.

Working Arrangements:

  • 2/3 days per week in our Cambridge-based office, with the ability to work remotely as needed.
  • Up to 30-40% travel globally, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
