We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of our site operations on a healthcare contract. In this role, you will lead a team of 9 operatives, managing both reactive workload and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to ensure high standards of performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, support, and motivate a team of 9 operatives to complete daily facilities tasks effectively.
  • Manage and prioritize reactive workload alongside a robust PPM schedule to maintain smooth operations.
  • Oversee the management of site water systems, ensuring compliance and quality.
  • Act as Responsible Person (RP) for water systems, with an option for Gas RP if desired.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, utilizing technical insights to optimize maintenance processes.
  • Management and Audit of Contractors ensuring completion of all PPM’s and reported remedial works

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in facilities management, ideally in a hands-on, team-based environment.
  • Healthcare background desired.
  • Engineering background or relevant technical experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of water, gas and ventilation systems management. (Training provided if required for RP roles.)
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with a focus on health, safety, and compliance.
