Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Training and Development Specialist to join our People team at our Head office in Hemel Hempstead.

The successful candidate will have experience as a L&D Administrator, excellent communication and influencing skills, and the ability to handle day-to-day enquiries and resolve queries from employees and line managers.

About the Job

This role will involve working with the People Development Business Partner and HR Business Partners to support the delivery and implementation of agreed training needs. This includes sourcing, booking, and organizing internal and external training courses, as well as developing and maintaining our Learning Management System (Dayforce Learning).

The key responsibilities include updating and maintaining training information on Dayforce Learning, booking training courses, processing joining instructions, and updating attendance lists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update and maintain training information on Learning Management System (Dayforce Learning)
  • Book training courses, process joining instructions, and update attendance lists
  • Produce delegate lists for all internal courses
  • Issue course evaluation surveys and develop reports
  • Claim CITB grants as required
  • Assist the People Development BP in collating information for Sector training plans
  • Support the administration of company-wide development programmes
  • Maintain professional development records
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience as a L&D Administrator
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Highly organized and proactive
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • GCSE English & Maths (4-9 / A-C)
Estimated Salary

£30,000 - £40,000 per annum
