Support Worker for Children's Services

Charles Hunter Associates are currently seeking a Senior Support Worker to join their children's services team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be supporting the Deputy and Registered Manager to ensure that residents are supported in a safe and secure environment.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage a team in the absence of the leadership team, liaise with outside providers to get the best support for the young people in their care, deal with rotas, recruitment, and inductions for new members of staff.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Deputy and Registered Manager in ensuring the well-being of residents
- Liaising with outside providers to provide the best possible support for young people
- Managing rotas, recruitment, and inductions for new staff members
We are looking for someone with a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People, a full UK driving licence, and an understanding of OFSTED regulations, standards, and safeguarding.
The salary for this role is up to £13.50 per hour, and working hours will be 40 hours per week, including shifts and ad-hoc sleeps.
