Care Professional for Children and Young Adults

My client, a renowned provider of children's services in Birmingham, seeks an experienced Senior Support Worker to join their team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young adults with Complex Emotional Disorders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting residents in a safe and secure environment, working closely with the Deputy and Registered Manager to ensure high-quality care standards are met. You will also have the ability to manage the home in the absence of the leadership team, liaising with external providers to obtain the best support for the young people in your care.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People, a Full UK Driving Licence, and a strong understanding of OFSTED regulations and safeguarding principles. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to lead a team effectively.
**Job Highlights:**
- Salary: Up to £13.50 per hour
- Location: Birmingham
- Working Hours: 40 hours (includes shifts and ad-hoc sleeps)
