We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation and/or Cardiology, with a strong background in health promotion and education. They will be responsible for assessing and managing patients with Coronary Heart Disease and other Cardiac conditions, providing individualized health education and rehabilitation programs, and assisting patients in adopting a healthier lifestyle.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership qualities, with experience in managing a team and developing governance systems. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.

About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise and experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assessing and managing patients with Coronary Heart Disease and other Cardiac conditions
- Providing individualized health education and rehabilitation programs
- Assisting patients in adopting a healthier lifestyle
- Developing and implementing governance systems
- Leading and managing a team of nursing and administration staff
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- NMC registration (Part 1)
- ILS Certificate
- ALS certificate
- 1st Level degree or willingness to work towards
- Driving Licence and access to a car
