Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled KS2 SEN Teacher to join our team in Cranborne, Dorset. The successful candidate will have experience teaching students with Autism and SEMH needs and a strong commitment to inclusive education.

Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum

Key Job Functions
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse student needs and abilities.
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes social and emotional growth.
  • Work collaboratively with SEN specialists and other staff to ensure comprehensive student support.
  • Conduct regular progress monitoring and assessments to inform instruction and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
  • Maintain open communication with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress.


Qualifications and Experience
  • Hold QTS or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Proven experience teaching at the KS2 level, preferably in an SEN or alternative provision setting.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Autism and SEMH, including their impact on learning and behavior.
  • Strong commitment to inclusive education and ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs.
