We are a specialist staffing agency dedicated to providing high-quality support staff for schools with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

We are currently working with an outstanding primary school in the London Borough of Redbridge, seeking a confident and creative SEND Teaching Assistant to support and encourage a child with SEND on a 1:1 basis.

The ideal candidate will be focused and determined to encourage pupils to reach their full potential, empathetic, friendly and able to form good relationships with children, as well as having a genuine passion for the job.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will be a positive role model for all and always promote good behaviour, while maintaining a can-do attitude and continually looking for learning opportunities.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum depending on experience

Job Requirements:

  1. To provide 1:1 support to a child with SEND
  2. To develop and implement effective strategies to promote pupil progress
  3. To work closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting children with SEND
