Bereavement Counsellor Job - Apply Now

We are looking for an experienced Bereavement Counsellor to join our team at WhereToTalk. This role involves working with children and young people who have experienced loss, providing them with the support and guidance they need to cope with their emotions. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of child bereavement issues, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work flexibly.

Job Requirements:
  • Estimated salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Part-time hours: 14 hours per week, with additional temporary contract until September 2024
  • Flexible delivery of hours possible

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver one-to-one and group counselling sessions for bereaved children and young people
  2. Provide emotional support and guidance to children, young people, and their families
  3. Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  4. Develop and maintain effective relationships with children, young people, and their families
