Aviation Maintenance Engineering Instructor

About the Role
Kingston University is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Engineering Instructor to join its dynamic academic team. As a key member of the faculty, you will be responsible for delivering and assessing undergraduate modules in aviation maintenance engineering.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a background in aviation maintenance, with a Category B1 licence in Aircraft Maintenance (B1-Aircraft Mechanical Systems, Structures and Engine). Experience as a B1 type instructor from an airline is also highly desirable. A postgraduate degree in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related discipline, along with a PhD in a related field, is preferred. Equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
You will have the opportunity to engage in applied research/industry liaison to enhance the University's reputation for research-informed/industry-informed teaching. Additionally, you will be supported in pursuing research opportunities that generate income, such as grants and industry partnerships, helping to drive innovation and growth.

Salary Information
The salary for this position is estimated to be between £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
