Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Residential Care Manager to oversee daily operations, provide individualised support, and manage a team of residential care staff in our solo placement setting for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Main Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Management: Ensure high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Individualised Support: Address specific emotional and behavioural needs to foster development and resilience.
  • Staff Development: Recruit, train, and manage a team of residential care staff, building a positive working culture.
  • Safeguarding & Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of child protection, meeting Ofsted and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the budget, optimising resources and maintaining transparency.
Requirements
  • Must be a Registered Manager: Proven experience in a residential childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of Regulatory Requirements: Strong understanding of Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and child protection protocols.
