Job Opportunity for a Dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to support a student with special educational needs in a Calmore-based SEN setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children with Social, Emotional, and Behavioural difficulties, as well as moderate learning difficulties and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual support to a student with complex needs
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the student, staff, and parents
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a 1:1 capacity
  • Ability to work effectively with challenging behaviour
  • Proactive and flexible approach to supporting students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Contract Details:

  • Location: Calmore, Hampshire
  • Position: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Contract type: Temp to Perm
  • Full time: Monday - Friday, 08:30am - 15:30pm
  • Rate of pay: £13.09 per hour
