We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at U-Educate. As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of needs, including SLD, MLD, and SEMH.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise students on a 1:1 or small group basis, providing additional learning support as identified.
- Support students with personal care needs, ensuring their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
- Engage and motivate students to complete work set, ensuring they are focused and on track to meet their lesson objectives.
- Provide feedback to the classroom teacher on student progress and development.
- Implement individual Educational, Social, Behavioural, and Personal Care Plans.
Requirements:
- Previous experience within an educational setting supporting students with SEN.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
- Experience with SLD, MLD, and SEMH.
- Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children.
- Up-to-date Safeguarding Training.
