Job Title: Hub Team Leader

Join The Conservation Volunteers in a dynamic role that combines leadership, training, and conservation efforts.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to lead a team of trainees in our John Muir Way Greenskills program. As a Hub Team Leader, you will be responsible for line managing trainees, delivering practical training, and overseeing biodiversity enhancement tasks on partner sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of six trainees per year, located in Edinburgh, Falkirk, North Lanarkshire, and East Dunbartonshire.
  • Manage the delivery of practical training and biodiversity enhancement tasks on partner sites.
  • Liaise with greenspace teams in Local Authorities and Scottish Canals to agree sites and projects.
  • Contribute to project evaluation, local budget management, and program promotion.
  • Work closely with the People and Admin Coordinator to manage trainee schedules, attendance, and program exiting.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in managing a training program or structured delivery model.
  • Mentoring and/or coaching young people.
  • A passion for supporting young people to achieve their goals.
  • Knowledge and understanding of practical biodiversity projects and events.
