Solar Technical Support Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Solar Technical Support Manager to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive exceptional technical support and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Electrical Installation Manager to resolve technical issues and support the completion of installations.
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and online chat, diagnosing and resolving issues in a professional and effective manner.
  • Collaborate with the sales office and warehouse team to assist with technical inquiries and support production as required.
  • Support the development and implementation of new products, including product testing and data entry.
  • Assist with warranty returns, tracking faulty equipment and facilitating the return and replacement/refund process.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of PV and retrofit battery systems.
  • Analytical and solution-focused with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good IT skills, particularly in spreadsheets and databases.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities.

  • A competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
