About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate support worker to provide 1:1 assistance to a child in Reception with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored, 1:1 support to help the child access the Early Years curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment.

Implement individualised strategies to manage and reduce challenging behaviours associated with PDA and ODD.

Promote positive interactions and emotional regulation, fostering a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for the child.

About You:

We are looking for a support worker who is experienced in working with children with additional needs, particularly PDA and ODD.

Calm, patient, and skilled in building trust and strong relationships with young children.

Committed to the well-being and development of every child in their care.
