Job Title: Dynamics Structural Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dynamics Structural Engineer to join our team at Rolls-Royce Submarines. As a key member of our Dynamics Group, you will be responsible for conducting structural assessments and analyses to ensure the safety and reliability of our submarine propulsion systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct linear, non-linear, and dynamic finite element analyses to assess the structural integrity of submarine components
- Develop and implement methodologies to assess components and define testing programs to underwrite those methods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and substantiate component designs and inform through-life management

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, physics, or mathematics
- Strong understanding of dynamic analysis and testing principles
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously
