About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team at Beeswing, a 24/7 supported living service in Dumfries. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs, including intellectual and physical disabilities and autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred support to individuals, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Support individuals to engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other professionals to ensure seamless care and support.
Requirements
  • Empathetic and caring nature.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confidence in using computers.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and on your own.
  • Good organisational skills.
