Transportation Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Transportation Specialist to join our logistics team in Maidenhead, UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to customers, adhering to delivery schedules and maintaining excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and deliver goods to customers across various locations, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
- Load and unload goods, handling items with care to prevent damage.
- Follow delivery routes and time schedules accurately, maintaining a high level of punctuality.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working condition, performing routine checks and maintenance as needed.
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Complete delivery records and paperwork accurately, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher).
- Proven experience as a Transportation Specialist or in a similar role.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication and customer service abilities, with a focus on providing excellent service.
- Ability to handle and lift heavy items, with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our customers.
