Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our team at Northamber PLC. As an Internal Sales and Product Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales and product management teams by proactively driving sales of the SONY brand in Northamber.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve personal sales and margin targets on a monthly basis by proactively contacting lapsed, existing, and potential customers to generate sales opportunities.
  2. Drive traded breadth and customer recruitment by introducing new products and promotions to customers and identifying new business opportunities.
  3. Deliver an expert service to reseller accounts by providing a high level of technical and commercial support.
  4. Confidently position the benefits of SONY and Northamber on commercial and technical levels to swap sell resellers from competing vendors.
  5. Deliver against organisational and personal KPIs, including margin and activity levels, by developing and maintaining customer relationships and driving cross-sell opportunities.
  6. Develop, qualify, and follow up on sales leads by proactively following up on e-shots and marketing activities with prospective customers.
  7. Promote Northamber services and accessories on every sale to increase margin and value.
  8. Proactively develop relationships with key internal and external contacts to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  1. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  3. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Experience in internal sales in AV distribution, with a proven track record of delivering sustained incremental sales and profit for a sales organisation through proactive customer engagement.
  7. Clear understanding and experience of working within a channel-focused environment.
  8. Knowledge of AV products and industry trends is a plus.
